2010 Standing Committees

Raffle Night Fundraiser - This committee is in charge of organizing the annual raffle Night fundraiser in February. Duties include, but are not limited to, selling tickets, procuring prizes, organizing workers and food.

Promotions - This committee is responsible for; coordinating and organizing promotions that will benefit our current members, keeping existing members and assisting in finding new members, organizing the Welcome Baskets, planning promotional advertising, coordinating and planning additional events for the Chamber that are not covered under a separate committee, plan, organize, and distribute necessary marketing collateral, and develop and judge community contests.

Golf Tourney Fundraiser - This committee is in charge of organizing the annual Golf Outing in July. Duties include, but are not limited to, selling participations, procuring prizes, organizing workers and facilities.

Country Christmas - This committee is in charge of organizing the annual event in early December. Duties include organizing participants in the parade, and day / evening activities, developing signage and decorating locations.

Distinguished Citizen Award - This committee is in charge of procuring nominations, judging nominees, and selecting an individual as New Holstein's Distinguished Citizen of the Year. Duties also include procuring awards, plaques, proclamations, etc.

Annual Dinner - This committee is responsible for the annual general membership dinner meeting / Distinguished Citizen Award Night held in December. Duties include organizing location and meal, procuring door prizes, collecting fees, etc.

Reality Check - This committee is in charge of working with the New Holstein School District staff in organizing realistic economic scenarios in order to introduce students to the responsibilities of adulthood.
Tia Bowe (Chairperson)

Super Cub Weekend - This committee serves as a liaison group to the Super Cub Flyers Club that visits our Community during the EAA Show in Oshkosh. Duties include planning activities, services, etc. for our guests.

Night On The Town - This committee organizes the event that showcases our eating, drinking and entertainment establishments. Duties include procuring participants, attendance prizes, Promotional materials and advertising, transportation between venues and logistics.

Chamber Member/Volunteer of the Year - This committee will be in charge of selecting criteria for nominations, procuring nominations, the selection of a winner, procuring the award and planning the presentation.

Chamber Information Center - This Committee is a temporary committee to look into the feasibility and funding of a new community information center with electronic signage and information areas to be located in the City Parking lot next to the Fire Station.
